PH05839: SIGNING OUT BEFORE "REPORT HAS NO PROMPTS" POPS UP CAUSES THE REPORT NOT TO RUN

Error description

  • In CA11R13 when you schedule a report to run in the background
    (in this instance was PDF) and have the Prompt Me box ticked,
    Cognos pops up with "Report has no prompts" and the report runs
    successfully. In this case, the customer is signing out of
    Cognos before the "Report has no prompts" pops up and that is
    causing the report to not run (nothing in Current Activities or
    Past Activities or Upcoming Activities). I've tested this myself
    in R13 and can confirm the same behaviour happens..
