Problem summary

• Syntax supported in older compilers is failing under WPS.  Line
  continuations are not always processed correctly.
  

Problem conclusion

• The proprietary scanner was updated to support some syntax and
  behavior that was allowed by older compilers, like OS/VS and
  COBOL 370. It was also updated to better support line
  continuations. Certain Oracle database syntax is now accepted
  with a warning.
