Error description

  • After updating to z/OS Connect EE V3.0.12, API requester
archives are not detected if they are not in the default
location. API requester archives are not loaded when the server
is started and the following message is returned to the calling
program in the BAQ-STATUS-MESSAGE field:
BAQR1131E: API requester <name> is not registered.

Local fix

  • As a workaround use default apiRequester resource folder
and copy .ara files to it, and use <zosconnect_apiRequesters
updateTrigger="disabled" pollingRate="50s"/> in the server.xml

location are not loaded. Specifying a different location in the

file does not resolve the problem.

  • z/OS Connect EE has been corrected to ensure that API
requesters are loaded from correctly specified non-default
locations.

The fix for this APAR is expected to be delivered by the PTF for
z/OS Connect EE V3.0.15.0 (PH04447).
