Problem summary


    

  • JZOS PackedDecimal field classes do not validate digits and may
convert the data incorrectly if the data contains invalid
digits.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • JZOS PackedDecimal classes has been updated to validate the
input data and will throw exception if invalid data is detected.
.
This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
   8    SR5 FP20  (8.0.5.20)
   7 R1 SR4 FP30  (7.1.4.30)
.
