Problem summary


    

  • Java and COBOL outputs are written to separate streams when
using JZOS in a COBOL environment. It is difficult to understand
the chronological execution order of the program from multiple
output streams.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • JZOS Batch Launcher has been updated to provide APIs for COBOL
programs to redirect and combine both COBOL and Java outputs to
DD:SYSOUT.
.
This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
   8    SR5 FP20  (8.0.5.20)
.
