Error description
Filter area of a dashboard is suddenly empty and dashboard is showing "Query Service internal error has occured" after metadata has been changed in the Framework Manager package. This is happening for small changes, like renaming of a query item, that is used as item in the global filter area. The Query Service logs show a java.lang.NullPointerException at com.ibm.bi.qs.xqe.v5.FilterGenerator.createInExpression(FilterGe nerator.java:217) at com.ibm.bi.qs.xqe.v5.FilterGenerator.getExpression(FilterGenerat or.java:690) at com.ibm.bi.qs.xqe.v5.FilterGenerator.GenerateFilter(FilterGenera tor.java:79) at com.ibm.bi.qs.xqe.v5.DataExecutor.generateV5QuerySet(DataExecuto r.java:512)
