• This is a general doc apar to make several changes to the
  published IP PrintWay Guide (S544-5379).

  The COPIES function is not fully documented on how and when
  IP Printway does copies when using LPR/LPD or direct socket
  printing.
  
  Abend codes RC0300 and RC0301 are missing from the IP Printway
  Guide.
  

Problem conclusion

• On page 157 under the COPIES=nnn heading add the following:
  The target system must be able to support copies by printing
  a copy  of the data set for each LPR filter and data set name
  entry in the control file. If the LPD does not support this,
  then only the original data set will be printed.
  
  Currently, not many LPDs support the copy function.
  Copies are not supported when using direct socket printing.
  
  On page 242 after 02A9 abend code add the following:
  0300
  
  Explanation: The LPR buffer pointer is pointing outside the
  buffer range.
  
  System Action: PrintWay terminates abnormally.
  
  System Programmer Response: This PrintWay abend reason code
  indicates a possible logic error. Contact your service
  representative in the IBM Support Center, or use your
  electronic link with IBM service for assistance.
  
  0301
  
  Explanation: A select logic error has occured.
  
  System Action: PrintWay terminates abnormally.
