Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
* USERS AFFECTED: Users of zSecure Admin/Audit exploiting the  *
*                 EV.I reports in interactive mode with the    *
*                 "Output in print format" option checked.     *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: zSecure Admin/Audit generates           *
*                      incomplete SMF reports for zERT events. *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided and review the        *
*                 documentation updates.                       *
****************************************************************
When the "Output in print format" option for EV.I reports (IP
events from SMF and other logs) is checked, the generated SMF
reports for zERT events do not contain enough details like
data that is specific to TLS/SSL, SSH, or IPsec.

Problem conclusion

  • zSecure Admin/Audit has been modified so that the generated SMF
reports for zERT events contain more details.
