Error description

• There is currently no print capability for Canzlog data, which
  makes serviceability difficult and requires customers to use
  NETLOG for audit purposes if they want an easily readable log.
  Note: This function is intended for full function NetView users.

  Although there is a section entitled 'Printing the Canzlog Log
  (Using the Canzlog API)' in IBM NetView for z/OS knowledge
  center describes a method of how to print Canzlog log, users are
  not satisfied with the limited information and the simple
  example in that section. They said in the past before IBM
  NetView for z/OS has Canzlog feature, DSIPRT is very useful and
  convenient to print the NetView log, but now for Canzlog, they
  don't have a easy way any more. They are eager to have a new
  feature in IBM NetView for z/OS for Canzlog Print.

• IBM NetView for z/OS provides a new functionality for Canzlog
  Print. It enables user to print Canzlog messages by issuing
  PRINT command in either NCCF console, BROWSE window, or Canzlog
  Panel. The required parameters for PRINT command can be
  pre-configured in CNMSTYLE statements, therefore user can issue
  PRINT command without any parameters. User can specify a filter
  specification, output data set, prefixes, message details along
  with the PRINT command directly as well. NVINFO command is
  enhanced to print Canzlog messages. If user specifies both a
  data set name and a filter specification in the parameter of
  NVINFO command, the Canzlog messages filtered with the filter
  specification will be printed to the output data set as well as
  the original NVINFO information. This new feature is not
  available to IBM Automation Control for z/OS customers.
  
  The following are documentation changes that are being made to
  the IBM NetView for z/OS library for Canzlog Print function,
  which is not available to IBM automation Control for z/OS
  customers.

    -'Chapter 3. Preparing the NetView Program', a new
      section entitled 'Allocating Data Sets for Canzlog
      Print' is added after the section entitled
      'Reviewing Canzlog Archiving Allocation Parameters'
    -'Appendix A. NetView Functions and Tasks', the section
      entitled 'NetView functions', the table 13, add a new
      NetView Function row named 'Canzlog Print' after the
      row of 'Canzlog log'.
  2. IBM Tivoli NetView for z/OS V6R2M1 Installation:
     Configuring Additional Components, GC27-2851-04
    -'Chapter 9. Defining and Maintaining Data Logs and
      Databases', a new section entitled 'Configuring
      Parameters for Canzlog Print' is added.
  3. IBM Tivoli NetView for z/OS V6R2M1 User's Guide:
     NetView, SC27-2867-06
    -'Chapter 12. Managing NetView Data', a new section
      entitled 'Printing Canzlog Data' is added after the
      section entitled 'Archiving Canzlog Data'

    -'Chapter 3. Documenting and reporting problems',
      changes are made for NVINFO command related
      description, a new paragraph is added in the section
      entitled 'Capturing Message Log Data' as well.

      the section entitled 'Network log', a new sub-section
      entitled 'Identify message origin when printing
      Canzlog data' is added after the sub-section entitled
      'Using MSGMODID to identify message origin'

     -'Chapter 2. CNMSTYLE initialization Statements', six
       new sections are added after the section entitled
       'CORRELATION'. The new added sections are

     Volume 2 (O-Z), SC27-2848-06

       (NCCF)' are added to describe the new added PRINT
       commands.
