The following features are being provided: - Support for 6 decimal places, Support has been added to display important interval values for tasks, with a resolution of up to 6 decimal places. - The ability to easily see transactions from a different time in Task History. Currently when you enter task history you are presented with the most recent transactions. You can access task history from a historical summary to see tasks from that period. With this change you see the time and date of the most recent transaction displayed. This value can be over typed to view transactions from another time. - Task History filtering improvements. Previously Task history filtering only supported one decimal place for response time and CPU time. This is now increased to support up to 6 decimal places. - Enhance Web Services displays allow for more detailed monitoring of SOAP traffic to and from the CICS regions. - An ability to see for Web Service provider details of the tasks in history that provided the web service response. - CICSplex Task History allows users to see the task history for a finite amount of time across a CICSplex. It allows the user to see all transactions for a given time range and sort those by various attributes. - The ability to track the duration of programs via a new global option to trace all program calls. This feature allows users to see the breakdown of time within their transactions by the driving application program. - Navigation to tasks which have finished. If when selecting a task in the summary display, the task has ended, the user will be taken to the task details in task history, if available. - Reduced CPU at the hub TEMS. Improvements have been made to allow for a reduction in the number of queries that are issued on a regular basis. This will lead to a reduction of the workload for the hub TEMS. - Improved efficiency for historical queries targeting a list of resources. Queries are now more directly focused when showing a historical summary to the node concerned. - Embedded data for IMS. Some metrics are shared between the OMEGAMON XE for CICS and OMEGAMON XE for IMS components. So less time is spent switching between Enhanced 3270 UI workspaces for the components. Troubleshooting is therefore faster. - New ability to take action against Datasets. This allows for the management of RLS files from the CICS perspective in a similar way to file actions are performed today. - Enhance debugging of CICSplex features include automatic enablement of trace for product provided debugging workspaces. New messages better indicate the configuration of a CICSplex. After installing this PTF, you must reload the RTE where an OMEGAMON XE for CICS on z/OS agent is running and then restart the agent. If you are NOT using the Self-Defining Agent (SDA) feature, this PTF must be installed in conjunction with fix pack 5.3.0-TIV-KC5-FP0001 which must be applied to the TEPS environment and, if the hub TEMS is running on a non-z/OS platform it must be applied to the hub TEMS. However, if you are using SDA, this is not necessary. The SDA feature does not update the application support used by the TEP Desktop Client. To update the TEP Desktop Client's application support to the level delivered by this PTF, you must also install fix pack 5.3.0-TIV-KC5-FP0001.
