OA41553: ADD SUPPORT OF CICS TRANSACTION SERVER FOR Z/OS V4.2

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The current level of End To End (ETE) does not support CICS
  Transaction Server for z/OS V4.2.  This APAR will enable End To
  End (ETE) to support CICS Transaction Server for z/OS V4.2.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Message ETE0230 received when using     *
  *                      KETX Transaction to enable CICS SEND    *
  *                      EXIT under CICS Transaction Server for  *
  *                      z/OS V4.2.                              *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  The current level of End To End (ETE) does not support CICS
  Transaction Server for z/OS V4.2. Support is required to
  detect CICS Transaction Server for z/OS V4.2 and allow the
  SEND exit to be loaded.
  

Problem conclusion

• KETXCOUN has been changed to enable support for CICS Transaction
  Server for z/OS V4.2.
