Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The parmgen KI2_CLASSIC_ATF_ATFBUFF has a default of 4096 but if
  you don't specify it, the ATFBUFF parameter is not set in
  KI2ATFxx and the ATF does not start at all.
  

Local fix

• Modify the WCONFIG(%RTE_NAME%) converted PARMGEN LPAR profile to
   specify 4096 value in the "KI2_CLASSIC_ATF_ATFBUFF" profile
  parameter as shown on sample line #2963 below:

  1. The default value of 4096 for KI2_CLASSIC_ATF_ATFBUFF is
     not enforced.
  2. The RTE_SECURITY_CLASS parameter needed to implement IMS
     command security through the SAF interface is missing.
  3. ATF TOTTRANS value was specified during configuration but
     was not saved in ISPF table.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. PARMGEN uses the value specified by KI2_CLASSIC_ATF_ATFBUFF
     to set the ATFBUFF startup value.  A change was made to the
     configuration script to enforce the default if a null value
     was set for KI2_CLASSIC_ATF_ATFBUFF.
  2. If a value is specified for RTE_SECURITY_CLASS, that value
     is now included in the KI5ENV startup member in RKANPARU.
  3. Value specified for TOTTRANS is now saved in the ISPF
     table and available in subsequent ICAT execution.
