Error description

• On the IP Resource Manager (IPMAN) panel everything is showing
  as UNKNOWN and the TCP390 (SP) resource is missing.
  Additionally, no stack information is written to CNMALLDA.

  *                 AON or IPMGT towers enabled.                 *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: On the IP Resource Manager (IPMAN)      *
  *                      panel (FKXK2700) every resource has a   *
  *                      status of UNKNOWN and the TCP390 (SP)   *
  *                      resource is missing. Additionally, no   *
  *                      stack information is written to         *
  *                      CNMALLDA.                               *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The data collector for the TCPIP stack information (CNMEDCST)
  does not always get the expected data from the MVS D TCPIP
  command it issues in a pipe. If the MVS command is being echoed
  preceding the command output, the pipe ends prematurely causing
  CNMEDCST to not get the D TCPIP command output it needs to
  collect the data for the stack and other resources associated
  with the stack.
  

Problem conclusion

• CNMEDCST is being changed to not end the pipe until the D TCPIP
  command output has been received or the pipe issuing the
  command times out.
