Error description

• 1. The following error message may appear when attempting to
  Cancel from Enterprise Enqueue and Reserve Details.
     "CANCEL COMMAND REQUIRES ASNAME, ASID AND ASTYPE"
  2. E3270UI panels that report on all LPARs can experience
     'NO DATA' responses when one or more LPARs have gone
     offline. LPARs with less than four character SMFIDs
     would cause this problem.

  1. The ASTYPE may be incorrect on Cancel take action requests
     from the Enterprise Enqueue and Reserve Detail or the
     Address Space Overview panels.  KM5ENQS6 or KM5ASPO.
  2. The status of an LPAR that went offline was not always
     updated correctly, resulting in queries that would
     eventually timeout.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. Correct the specification of the ASTYPE when any of the
     Cancel take actions are requested.
  2. Correct the logic to correctly maintain the online/offline
     status of LPARs.
