Error description

  • High CPU utilization on the agent running on z/OS platform
after receiving TRANSCON PULL request.

Recreate instructions:

itmsuper sends the following TRANSCON PULL request to z/OS
agent:

 SELECT DATA FROM O4SRV.TRANSCON
 WHERE ORIGINNODE="[managed_system_name]" AND
 CONTROL="PULL" AND
 IN STRUCTS='xml_instructs';

High CPU utilization occurs for an agent running on z/OS
platform. This happens shortly after user selects the link
"Environment and Inventory" in ITMSuper.

    



Problem conclusion

ITMSuper.
