Error description

• Environment:
  z/OS with PTF(UA64470)  /* 5608-A41CE-HKLV623 */ applied.
  
  Problem Description:
    TEMS ABEND S202 during product SHUTDOWN.
    TEMS or agent S0C4 at KLBLIB.KLBSSGLK+E4
  
  Detailed Recreation Procedure:
    Run 6.23.01 engine with moderate RAS1 tracing.
    KBS_DEBUG=Y for a TEMS address space generally
    recreates the problem.

Local fix

Problem summary

• An ABEND S0C4 and/or S202 occur during Tivoli Enterprise
  Monitoring Server shutdown. The abend is taken in KLXLIB but the
   defect is IRA (KRALIB) shutdown serialization.
  

Problem conclusion

• Additional diagnostic code was added to KLXLIB and IRA (KRALIB)
  shutdown was modified to use proper serialization method.
  
  The fix for this APAR is included in the following maintenance
  vehicle:
