OA40177: OMEGAMON XE FOR IMS HIGH CPU BECAUSE OF A DETECTED LOOP

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The issue here is a lack of data to sort. Much more likely to
  occur in smaller test environment than in production.
  The main issue is with the sort PIR which basically receive a
  request to sort nothing and causes a loop
  The sort routine was introduced with PTF UA62024 and the process
  of Lock Conflicts has ben introduced by PTF UA59603
  

Local fix

• Tthe only available workaround is to recycle the XE agent
  when looping is detected

  High CPU may be seen in the IMSPlex agent KIPPLEX when
  attempting to view the Global Lock Contention workspace.
  This can randomly occur when little or no lock contention
  data is available for display for the IMSPlex view.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code has been changed to check for and then exit when
  there is no data to display for lock contention.
