OA40092: ENGINE STORAGE QUIESCE OCCURS AFTER MANY FAILED LOGONS TO OMEGAMON FOR SMS. CREATE PATH FAILS WITH STATUS 104, 172, ETC.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Storage Quiesce occurs in the ITM Engine after many (thousands)
  of failed attempts to logon to OMEGAMON for SMS. The RKLVLOG
  shows a "Create Path Failed, status nnn" message when the logon
  fails.  The storage creep occurs for several different status
  codes. For this problem, the status codes observed were 104
  (Invalid CT/DS ID) and 172 (TEMS not connected).
