Error description

  • Storage Quiesce occurs in the ITM Engine after many (thousands)
    of failed attempts to logon to OMEGAMON for SMS. The RKLVLOG
    shows a "Create Path Failed, status nnn" message when the logon
    fails.  The storage creep occurs for several different status
    codes. For this problem, the status codes observed were 104
    (Invalid CT/DS ID) and 172 (TEMS not connected).

Problem conclusion

  • Ensure the storage is freed when CreatePath fails.
