Error description

  • In the Japanese locale, a backslash is appearing as garbage in
    the MSG2 log. This problem may affect certain other characters
    in a few other locales.
    
    Environment:
    ITM 6.2.2 FP04
    
    RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS:
    
    - Set system to the Japanese
    - Start TEMS
    - Examine the MSG log for garbled characters
    - If none appear, then cause a MSG2 message to be written that
    contains the backslash character. A reflex action can be used to
    cause this.

Problem conclusion

  • Updated the code so that the code page used is adjusted
    similarly to the way it is done in other parts of the
    product.
