OA37615: LOOP AND HIGH CPU IN XE AGENT AFTER ACCESSING FAST PATH DATA

Error description

• Loop and high CPU usage in XE agent task occurs in module
  KIPENVx0 as seen in system trace.  This may occur when a
  situation or user references a workspace that displays Fast Path
  data. Restart of agent does not correct the problem.

  *                      Path System data is issued and locks    *
  *                      for two or more IMS subsystems are      *
  *                      being managed by a shared IRLM region.  *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply this PTF.                              *
  ****************************************************************
  When two or more IMS subsystems are managed by an IRLM, an
  infinite loop can occur and result in secondary S0C4 abends
  in KIPAGENT. KIPAnnnnI messages may also be issued indicating
  no data could be collected for shared queue and fast path
  system data. Also secondary S0C4 abends can occur with
  KIPAnnnnI NO DATA AVAIABLE messages issued.
  

Problem conclusion

• The abend recovery has been corrected to eliminate the loop
  and the code for monitoring IRLM regions managing multiple IMS
  subsystems has been corrected to eliminate the abend and data
  collection failures.
