IPT point and shoot of a "&SYSUID.." string in the middle of a
dataset name fails due to extraneous dot in translated DSNAME.
When a user enters consecutive PA1 (Program Attention 1 key)
in an ISPF/IPT session running under a TSO Session Manager,
it results in a CPU loop with numerous SNAP dumps, and a
"IQITH02E: TBLH SHORT ON STORAGE." error.
OLIST "INFO" and "RENAME" line commands fail processing
    cataloged data set alias names.
OLIST "MEMFIND" command does not search all displayed
data sets when "ALL" option is in effect.

Problem conclusion

  • IPT point and shoot of a "&SYSUID.." string in the middle of a
data set name properly removes the extraneous dot in translated
    DSNAME.
When a user enters consecutive PA1 (Program Attention 1 key)
in an ISPF/IPT session running under a TSO Session Manager,
IPT subtask recovery attempts to restore the ISPF/IPT
session as much as possible without causing a CPU loop.
OLIST "INFO" and "RENAME" line commands properly handle
    cataloged data set alias names.
OLIST "MEMFIND" command now searches all displayed data sets
when "ALL" option is in effect.
