Error description

  • Not returning what processNodeListUpdates returns. Tolerating a
failed Node List resync should be relatively simple.

Problem summary

Synchronization of the nodelist from the HUB to the RTEMS
can fail when a brief communication issue occurs during the
synchronization process. The failure is not handled properly,
resulting in an inaccurate nodelist at the RTEMS. The
inaccurate nodelist can result in incorrect or missing
situation distributions at the RTEMS.

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been updated to recognize that the nodelist
synchronization failed. Additional trace error messages
have been added that will document when a failure in the
nodelist synchronization occurs.
