  When HOD is loading from a Microsoft Internet Explorer bookmark
  it may fail to load properly. When the failure occurs, a pop up
  window may occur indicating that HOD had failed detecting the
  proper version of Java. Closing this pop up window may allow the
  HOD client to load and start.

Local fix

• Do not start HOD client from bookmarked location. This problem
  only occurs when the browser is Microsoft Internet Explorer.
  Using a different web browser may solve thhis problem.

  The HOD routines that check for Java level did not always get
  executed when HOD was started from a browser favorite.
  

Problem conclusion

• The HOD code was updated to check that the Java version
  checking would always execute.
