APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customer reported SQLSyntaxError during startup of IBM traveler
    and connected to a DB2 database server.  The particular DB
    environment does not support the type of index being added.
    This index is not required for DB2 environments and will be
    removed.  This is not seen on most DB2 deployments.

Problem summary

  • Some DB versions do not support the type of index being
    generated.  In those scenarios the Index should not be used.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM Traveler server has been updated to handle this
    scenario.
