APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The complete error message is like the following "Internal
    Error: Debug Data: Could not find file attachment w/
    UNID=XXXXXXXXC45585257E4B0055C192 Error(404)=Entry not found
     in index".  This happens on rich text documents where the
    FileName field in the $FILE item has some path information in
    it. (i.e.File Name: http://intranet/directory/Filename.pdf).
    This will cause the file not to be downloaded to device and the
    above error message in the console
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Attachments with path elements in the name may not download to
    mobile device.  Error seen on the server is "Entry not found in
    index."
    

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM Traveler server has been updated to handle this scenario
    correctly.
