APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • On 9.0.1.3 or later IBM Traveler code there are cases where
    invalid mime documents can cause IBM Traveler task to go away.
    The problem is that the code has buffer over run condition
    causing the crash. The system will banned the specific document
    for that user after a couple crashes.

Problem summary

  • An invalid formatted Mime document could cause the Traveler
    server to crash.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The Traveler server has been updated to handle this error case
    correctly.
