Error description

  • Problem was discovered internally. The scenario is not that
common and the Device will resolve the issue itself given a
    little bit of time.

When Trash sync is first turned on for an Active Sync device the
device may not request the new Trash folder id as it should, and
therefore may get an error on the device trying to delete an
    item.

Powering off the device then back on will resolve. The device
will also resolve itself eventually even if not powered off.

Local fix

  • Power off the device then power back on. This forces the device
    to verify the folder ids.
