LO84505: IBM Traveler 9013 may crash processing invalid Mime format documents
Direct links to fixes
Closed as program error.
The customer is seeing repeating crashes of IBM Traveler 184.108.40.206. These repeating crashes happen on mime documents that has an invalid or missing RFC822 header name. The workaround is to add the notes.ini parameter until this APAR is applied NTS_MIME_NATIVE_PROCESSING=false

The document in question was an invalid Mime format document that is missing require RFC822 header information. The missing information sent the Traveler down an error path that did have a code issue. The crashes seen as a result were complete unrelated to platform or Domino version and only seen if a user was trying to sync and invalid Mime format document.
The IBM Traveler server has been updated to correctly handle this error case. The problem is not at all common and not expected to be seen by very many customers.
A Hot Fix is available for this for IBM Traveler 220.127.116.11 upon request. This fix will also be included in IBM Traveler 18.104.22.168 with target delivery at end of April 2015 and any future release beyond 22.214.171.124.
