LO82275: "OVERFLOW" ERROR IN NOTES WHEN DELETING MAIL WITH ADOBE PDFMAKER PLUGINS

APAR status

Error description

  • Users are experiencing an Overflow error when deleting emails
in Notes 9.0.1 when the Adobe PDFMaker Plugin is being used.

If the following line is removed from the notes.ini file the
issue no longer occurs:
AddInMenus=C:\PROGRA~2\Adobe\ACROBA~1.0\PDFMaker\Mail\LOTUSN~1\P
DFMLO~1.DLL

However then the functionality of the Adobe pdfmaker is lost.

The issue can ONLY be reproduced on German 64bit Windows
7/8/8.1 with German local. English or multilinugal OS will not
reproduce the issue.
All the customers workstations and notebooks have 8GB of local
memory installed. Customer reproduces this issue on all of
workstations.

Local fix

  • Remove AddIn from notes.ini but this is not acceptable to the
customer as they lose the Adobe pdfmaker functionality.
