LO77548: NOTES BROWSER PREFERENCE NOT RESPECTED WHEN FORWARDING MAIL

Error description

• When the OS browser is specified in the Notes preferences, MIME
  mail is rendered using the OS browser however the setting is
  not respected when forwarding the same mail.
  [Note on definitions: The definitions are confusing as the
  "embedded browser" refers to the browser in the host OS where
  the client runs rather the browser that is built into Notes. If
  "Disable embedded browser" is not set in the client preferences
  this means the Notes client will use the OS browser in the
  Notes client, Internet Explorer in the case of Customer.]
  A database containing a MIME mail was supplied to demonstrate
  this issue.
  a) Copy the mail document provided to your mail file.
  b) Ensure the "Disable embedded browser for MIME mail" option
  is not selected (so that Notes uses the OS browser capability).
  c) Open the mail from (a) in the Notes client. You should see
  that this renders in the client using the OS browser capability
  d) Now click "Forward" to forward the document. You should see
  that the rendering is not carried out using the OS browser as
  per screenshot.
  Background and impact:
  The customer would like to switch to using the OS browser (IE)
  capability in Notes as this allows proxy configuration and root
  certificates to be managed directly in the OS browser. The
  ability to manage these elements in the Notes client is very
  limited, suggesting that it is intended for customers to manage
  these through the OS browser.
