1) Set up two Domino servers (regardless of OS, not in a cluster) 2) Create a database based on the mail template on server1 in folder mail do you mean register a user and create a mail file or just create a mail file without registering a user - Just create a mail file. 3) Create a mail-in document pointing to that database created in step 2) and make sure it has a hierarchical name, e.g. Test-Mail-In/IBM 4) Put the mail-in database name as owner in the profile of the database from step 2)Chose Actions - More - Preferences you get the profile document where the database owner can be set. That must be the name of the mail-in database which has to be in hierarchical form (step 3) since only such names can be added as owners. 5) Move the database using Administrator client from server1 to server2 and make sure to use a different folder on server2, e.g. apps 6) After approving the deletion of the old database I would expect to find a nrf file on server1 in mail pointing to server2 but still to folder mail
