Error description

  • ENVIRONMENT:
    W32
    Domino 8.5.3FP1 + HF618
    Quickr 8.5.1.37-302b
    (Also happens with the Quickr FixPack codestream for Domino
    8.5.1.)

    Directory type = Domino Native Authentication

    In qpconfig.xml, ensure you have this setting enabled:
    <notifications>
    <recipient_rules>
    <expand_external_groups      enabled="true"/>
    </recipient_rules>
    </notifications>
    (It is enabled by default)

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. In the Domino Directory that Quickr is using, create 4 new
    Groups:
    - Group C which is a member of Group B.
    - Group D which is a member of Group B.
    - Group B which is a member of Group A.
    2. Add 4 different users to each group, so that they each will
    contain:
    Group A contains Group B, Group C, Group D and User A.
    Group B contains Group C, Group D and User B.
    Group C contains User C.
    Group D contains User D.
    3. Edit Group C and add a value for the "Internet Address"
    field.
    4. Create a new standard place and add Group A as a member.
    5. For any page, select More Actions -> Send Link.
    6. Click the "To:" link.
    7. In the Members dialog, expand Group A and then send the mail.
    8. Check the mail files for the users.

    OBSERVED RESULTS:
    User D receives the mail once (correct), but User C receives
    the mail twice.

    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    User C, who is a member of Group C, should only receive the
    mail once.

    NOTE:
    The value for the QuickPlaceNestedGroupLimit=x notes.ini
    paramater does not seem to have any effect on this issue.
