LO74306: MESSAGES ARE MAL FORMED WHEN REQUESTING RETURN RECEIPTS FOR INTERNET

APAR status

• Closed as fixed if next.

Error description

• -When sending messages with a return receipt request thru iron
  port, checkpoint firewall. Message are reformatted and loose
  fidelity / appearance of original message.
  
  -Customer is sending message out to the inter thru an iron port
  firewall.
  -Issue is only messages that have a return receipt request are
  being reformatted by the firewall and loosing the formatting of
  the message.
  -Thsi only happens when return receipts are requested.
  -The return receipt feature is disabled in the configuration
  document and disposition notification to is not present in the
  header.
  -However, it is only these messages that are malformed when
  sending thru a firewall.
  -I cannot reproduce this behavior where I do not have a
  firewall to run my messages thru.
  -I do however have the customers before and after messages
  along with STFiles that are attached to the SPR.
  

Local fix

• Do not use return receipts when sending messages thru the
  firewall.
  

Problem summary

• In present, all the table converting from MIME to CD will be
   set as "fit with margins". So the size of table always been
   change, Fixing this SPR JFBM95LQU5 is going to keep the
   display of table as it is designed by the sender.
