LO73603: WRONG BROWSER USED WHEN CLICKING URL LINK IN THE MAIL

APAR status

Error description

• Env: Windows 7 64 bit
  Notes 8.5.3 FP3 basic client
            set firefox in location document as default browser
  
   Details:
  
   The problem only occurs in basic client - standard client is
   okay and problem only occurs since updating from 8.5.2.4 to
   8.5.3.3
  
   When clicking some ULR links the IE opens instead of default
   web
   browser Firefox, if you delete the mail, and click the link in
   the mail from trash folder, firefox can open the link.
  
   SPR author has reproduced the issue (in 853FP3 client) with
   customer's mail file:
   Please find a test mailfile attached in SPR attachment DB. All
   3 included mails contain links to websites.
  

Local fix

• check "Disable embedded browser for MIME mail", it helps to
  open the link by Firefox. This is not required if mail is
  opened from "trash".
