  One of the installation scenario for above hot fix is failing
  :
  
  Windows 7 : Standard Client MultiUser 8.5.2 -> 852FP2SHF279 ->
  JVM Security fix

  Lotus notes fix pack or hotfix installation is failing, if
  installed on the top
  of JVM Security fix provided above. I tried the scenario on two
  machines with
  different combinations but whenever I installed JVM Security
  fix, installation
  of 852FP4 and 852FP4SHF238 both got failed. I also tried to
  install 852FP2 on
  top of this JVM security fix however that also got failed.
  
  Installation is failing with .provisioning_rc file missing
  error. I observed
  that after installing JVM security fix, during the installation
  of 852FP4/
  852FP4SHF238 this file under
  '<notes_installation_directory>/framework/.provisioning_rc' gets
  deleted but
  doesn't gets created automatically after that, and installation
  throws an
  error. Please see the screenshot attached for the error.
  
  
  
  
  
  852FP4 and 852FP4SHF238 gets installed successfully if JVM
  security fix is not
  installed after installing 852FP2SHF279. In this case during the
  installation
  of 852FP4/ 852FP4SHF238 '.provisioning_rc' file under
  '<notes_installation_directory>/framework/' gets deleted and
  gets created
  automatically twice, and installation completes without any
  error.
  
  Note:
  JVM security fix upgrades the notes JVM to SR12.
  Before installing JVM security fix, JVM version for notes is on
  SR7 which not
  gets changed after installing any above hot fixes.
  852FP2SHF279 or 852FP4SHF238 both doesn't upgrades the JVM.
