APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customer set -DEFAULT- acl of LotusTraveler.nsf TO READER level
    and Traveler
resets to NOACESS when Traveler is restarted. Fix is to only
reset to NOACESS if it is at MANAGER level, otherwise Traveler
assumes customer modified and leaves as is.

Local fix

  • Use a user or Group acl entry instead of -DEFAULT-

Problem summary

  • for security reasons the Travler server would always change
Default access to NOACCESS on LotusTraveler.nsf. One customer
reported that they did not want this to happen.

Problem conclusion

  • The Change was to only change the Default access after initial
setup. If the customer then later changed the Default access to
some other non-manager value, the Traveler server would not
    remove this change.
