LO72499: OUTLOOK INVITEE FORWARD INVITE TO NOTES CHAIR - CHAIR GETS AN UP DATE AND MEETING CAN GET CORRUPTED.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Steps:
  1) Notes chair create a repeating meeting and invite an
  Outlook/Exchange
  invitee (5 days is fine)
  2) Outlook/Exchange invitee receives invitation.  Click forward.
   Enter the
  address of the Notes chair who sent them the invite.
  3) Notes chair will receive an update to a meeting that they are
  the chair of
  -The subject of this update is pre-pended with: Update: FW:
  Invitation:
  -The options are Open Meeting, Update Calendar, and Check
  Calendar
  -The update looks correct - all times seem valid
  4) If the chair hits 'Update Calendar', the meeting is removed!
  When I go back
  to the update notice to hit 'Open Meeting'
  
  You then can see that it is actually on the calendar (in
  thousands of years):
  
  
  
  Note: If this is done for a single meeting, you do not have an
  Update calendar
  or Check Calendar option - instead you see:
  'You cannot process this notice because this meeting is not in
  your mailfile or
  has not been accepted.'
  
  Note: If this is done in an Exchange environment, you see:
  'as the meeting organizer, you do not need to respond to this
  message'.
  
  
  
  Note: This should be fixed both in autoprocessing (block
  delivery) and in the
  template.
  

Local fix

• 1) Do not click update calendar
  2) Create an ondelivery agent to remove updates to meetings you
  are the chair of
  3) Open the meeting (from the update notice, which should be in
  the all
  documents view) and reschedule it back to the correct dates...
  however there
  will not be any invitees.  If you add invitees back on, they
  will receive a
  second invitation (not the end of the world but you can go
  offline and then
  delete this from the local mailbox).  You can cancel however at
  this point and
  it should be removed from invitees calendars, at which point
  creating a new
  meeting is recommended.
