Error description
On the XPage in a date field the date 25.10.1991 is entered. The field is associated with a Notes field of type DateTime. The date is correctly stored in the Notes document as 25.10.1991 00:00:00 CEDT. But in the XPage is displayed 24.10.1991 23:00:00. With each following edit/save of the document the date is changed to one day before. The time zone used by Domino server and Notes client is CET or CEDT. DST is enabled. It seems that the issue occurs with dates within certain time periods. It occurs, if: - the year is 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 or 1995 - the date is within a 4 weeks period before DST ends in autumn The issue occurs with Domino 8.5.3 and Domino 8.5.3 FP2. The issue is not reproducible in Domino 8.5.2.
Local fix
The Workaround is to use the datetime-picker.
Problem summary
Fix was submitted but turned off cause the API needed for the fix is not available in older Windows Operating System. Need to change the logic to figure if the API exist, if not then use the default DST API instead.
