Error description

  • Lotus Notes client basic edition crashes when you open
    "International - Spell Check" tab if dictionary file are
    removed.
    
    Steps to reproduce:
    
    1. Remove dictionary files (*.dic) from Data folder of Lotus
    Notes client.
    2. Launch Lotus Notes client basic edition.
    3. Select "File - Preferences - User Preferences".
    4. Open "International - Spell Check" tab. Then, Lotus Notes
    client crashes.
    
    Dictionary file should not be removed.
    But until Lotus Notes client 8.0.x, Lotus Notes client does not
    crash even if dictionary files (*.dic) was removed.
    

Local fix

  • Don't remove  dictionary files.
