APAR status

  • Closed as user error.

Error description

  • A user is running 8.5.2 FP2. They are a roaming user, using
Workspace roaming. When the user launches the client, they get
the error message "this workspace page cannot be used for
database icons". The client then closes. This issue was reported
as fixed in 8.5.1 by SPRs TDAS7QELAT and TDAS7SEN4S, but it is
still occurring in 8.5.2 FP2.

Local fix

  • Put DISABLE_WORKSPACE_ROAMING=1 in the notes.ini file, or
recreate the roaming bookmark.nsf file.
