Error description
Consider the senario whereby a client is shutdown, normally this would involve the rcp.lock being deleted. rcp.lock contains the PID associated with XPD, this process is notes2.exe in the process list on a w32 machine. During an unexpected termination of the Notes client, the rcp.lock file can remain making it impossible to start the Notes client until it is deleted.
