Error description

  • Internal customer reported that when processing invitations on
    the device, it would cause the Travler server to crash.  This
    only happened with a user who did not have an internet address
    configured in their person document.

Problem summary

  • In a rare case if a user does not have an Internet ID specified
    in the person document, and they accept/decline an invitation
    from an Apple Device, it could cause a null pointer exception
    that stops traveler from functioning.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The code was updated to use an empty string if null was returned
    for the Internet ID.
