LO45987: 2 USER SELECTION ELEMENTS IN AUTHORING TEMPLATE WHEN USING CUSTOM PEOPLEPICKER_AUTH.JSP, USER IS ADDED TO 2ND ELEMENT

APAR status

Error description

• When you have 2 "user selection" elements in a authoring
  template and
  use a custom .jsp, the peoplepicker_auth.jsp from teamspace
  portlet,
  user selected for first user selection, is added to second user
  selection element. Not able to add to first element.
  
  To reproduce:
  Create place, add announcement component.
  click settings and use custom authoring template for
  announcements.
  Select list announcements from Shared Resources Library
  Save, then click settings and edit again.
  Add 2 User Selection Elements, using Manage Elements.
  Now, clicking the icon next to User Select, specific a custom
  .jsp
      location for that user Selection to use..
      /teamspace/jsp/html/peoplepicker_auth.jsp
  * Note, do this for both User Selection elements you added.
  Now, save
  In Announcement, click on New Announcement.
  On user selection, add a user to first one, you will see user is
  added to second one instead.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Multiple User Selection components added to an Authoring
  template always insert the user in the last component.
  

Problem conclusion

• IWWCM Teamspace Portlet HF16 (LO45987).
