Error description
Problem with file explore dialog (e.g. attach file). The files & folders are always shown in the Thumbnail view instead of the detailed listing. When user is accessing the file dialog, for example when trying to save an attachment, the explorer dialog is always opened in the Thumbnail view. If the user changes to the Detail view it will be reset to Thumbnail the next time the file dialog is opened. The Windows explorer by itself is set to the Details view by default. If you browse the same directory directly using the Windows Explorer, the folders and files are being displayed in the Details view. Does not affect Microsoft Office applications or any others (If you browse the same directory directly using the Windows Explorer, the folders and files are being displayed in the Details view) Doc # 1102793 describes the same problem but with different view. 'List' listing style is selected by default but the 'Thumbnails' listing style. It's not a problem of the size of the dialog but the wrong listing style, which is very inconvenient for navigation. Environment: Lotus Notes client version 7.0.1 on Windows XP and Citrix MetaFrame on Windows Server 2003 About the document #178990 "How to Set the Default Import/Export/Detach Directory": SPR JLAR5EGSZA reports similar issue (see other info)
