  • When an RTP pipe is created for COS CPSVCMG (used for the CP-CP
session), the refifo option is not enabled.

Problem summary


    

  • When an RTP pipe is created for COS CPSVCMG (used for the CP-CP
session), the refifo option is not enabled.

Refifo is used to re-order packets that arrive out of order
(possibly due to overtaking between the partner and local
systems). This means that when there are a lot of messages on
the CP-CP sessions (typically, when activating other sessions)
and packets are arriving out of order, retransmission of the
out-of-order packets will be requested unnecessarily. There will
be no loss of sessions.

This problem is not present on other RTP pipes, such as those
used for CNOS, DLUR, or data traffic. It will affect any EN
using HPR/IP links.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Code has beed corrected to enable the refifo option on the
CPSVCMG RTP pipe.
