Error description

  • The below test case shows an Internal Compiler Error in XLF
    with cyclical type declaration.

Local fix

  • Remove the cyclical type declaration.
    

Problem summary

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In some cases, recursive types containing
    allocatable components can cause an internal compiler errors
    while creating default finalization routines.
    
    USERS AFFECTED: Users of XL Fortran 13.1 and above with
    recursive types in the source program during compilation.
