  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When specifying -qinline=level=0, even though the listing file
says NOINLINE, almost all functions are inlined ( by checking
the number of CALL statements found in the resulted listing
    file.

Local fix

  • Use -qnoinline

Problem summary

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: On BG/Q, the inline level in the compiler
does not change as the user asks for a different inline level
via option -qinline=level=n. The compiler does not honour the
    -qnoinline option when setting -qinline=level=0.

USERS AFFECTED: Users who want to control the amount of
    inlining with the -qinline=level=n option.

Problem conclusion

  • The compiler now honors the inline level set by the user.
