Error description

  • A WebSphere Cast Iron HA Pair fails to function and sync as it
    should after a "system clean all" command.
    
    There are cases where a "system clean all" may be required.
    After this is done the network is reconfigured and the HA
    setup is redone.
    After this, the HA functionality fails with the following error:
    
    HAPeerTalking: PROBLEM: HA Peer is not responding to local
    HAPeerTalkingToLocal: UNKNOWN: ! HAPeerTalking
    HAPeerEnabled: UNKNOWN: ! HAPeerTalking

Problem summary

    The problem was occurring because a configuration file was
    incorrectly removed during the execution of "system clean all".
