LI77113: UPDATED FIELD IS NOT POPULATED IN SAP RECEIVE IDOC ACTIVITY UNTIL APPLIANCE REBOOT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When sending an IDoc from SAP with an updated field, the new
  field is not reflected in the Receive IDoc activity in WebSphere
  Cast Iron until the WebSphere Cast Iron appliance is rebooted.
  

Local fix

• Reboot the appliance.
  

Problem summary

• While activity is running, if changes are made to SAP IDoc
  definition on the SAP server, regeneration of the artifact was
  not fetching latest changes.
  
  An exception similar to the one below would be experienced:
  com.sap.conn.idoc.IDocMetaDataUnavailableException: (3)
  IDOC_ERROR_METADATA_UNAVAILABLE: Matching meta data for
  segment definition "ZTEST1000" not found when processing IDoc
  no. 0000000000186686 of type "Z1_TESTMOHAN" .

  The only way to force this to reflect was to reboot the
  appliance.
  

Problem conclusion

• A product defect was discovered with the WebSphere Cast Iron SAP
  connector.
  This has been corrected and a permanent fix will be delivered in
  WebSphere Cast Iron V6.1.0.15 and V6.3.0.1
